The online marketing tactics evolve very quickly and, from the importance of disseminating relevant content on the web as a way to reach your target audience, Content Marketing was born, that is, content marketing, practice focused on producing high quality content and the virality of them as a way to expand their reach.
But if you think all of your content marketing work is limited to content production and dissemination of it is mistaken - the first step is to plan the "flow of action," that is, what action you expect Internet users take after reading or watching a video produced. He should turn to another document? The other video? A landing page? Directly to the page of a product? Depending on how you encourage a user to take an action, its results can be amazing or catastrophic.
So start by raising what information to use as "bait" to win more consumers, which content formats (video, text, images etc) intends to employ, what websites you want to use in your campaign (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook etc.) and what should be the next action to be taken by an Internet user for each of the displayed content. If all goes well coordinated, the bounce rate for your content will be lower and the higher the rate of purchase of your products and / or services.
In other words, not only consider the blog or page of your company as the sole channel for communication with potential consumers. There is a large universe of social networks, questions and answers sites and forums that you can explore and offering content in the proper format, you can achieve great results directly (ie, sales) and indirectly (promotion of your brand, improve reputation etc.).

Why am I not making money from my blog?
You may have read on the Internet about how you can make money with a blog and decided to start his own. A great idea! But a month or two later and yet you have not earned a penny with it (either through advertising, affiliate commissions or consulting). And now, why am I not able to earn as promised "passive income" of my blogs?
Things are more complicated than that, I mean, is not enough to have a blog with a little content, it is necessary that it should start to have a good traffic (ie, number of daily or monthly visitors) and that they are interested in how you intend to make money - it will make money through advertising, they should be interested in what is displayed in advertising, it will make money by selling products, they should be interested in the products shown and so on. So not enough to simply have a few pages on your blog and everything will be solved, no, you need to get "targetted traffic", ie traffic interested in the niche of your blog.
In order to get a good traffic to your blog and maybe convert into profitable actions for you, it is interesting to explore various marketing channels in order to determine the best. It is common sense that visitors from search engines and e-mail lists are those that best convert - and therefore ultimately are the most difficult to achieve and maintain - and then come those from social networks. Therefore, investing in Search Marketing, Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing can form a strong basis for the success of your blog!
